“Everything went wonderfully. The day was a bit of a blur but my surgeon was very thorough and informative. I ended up have 2 different sized implants due to the size of each individual breast.
All the nurses at the hospital were lovely and the hospital was very clean and welcoming. At any time I was experiencing pain all I had to do was buzz and a nurse would come straight in and help me out. On the first night I managed to get up and walk to the toilet 3 times with the assistance of my sister.
I am now day 4 post op and am not experiencing much pain or bruising at all. I stopped taking the pain medication day 2 post op because they were making me sick but I didn’t really need them.
My sister and I have been going to the beach and lazing by the pool drinking coconuts and mocktails. Of course I haven’t been swimming. I have been following all the Dr’s instructions and so far everything has been great. Today we plan on going to one of the shopping centres to escape the heat for a bit.
The only thing I can really complain about is the sleeping situation. I’m not one for sleeping on my back usually but sleeping on my back slightly elevated is uncomfortable and I do have some back muscle pain but I’m hoping in the next week or two that will change.”
