I stayed at a few different hotels, Sea Sun Sand Resort & Spa for 10 nights, 4 nights at Paradise Koh Yao Resort & Spa and 2 nights at Dewa Phuket Resort. Each hotel is amazing and the staff are fabulous. I wanted to stay at a few resorts so that I could experience the different locations. Sea Sun Sand Resort & Spa is fabulous and is about a 15 minute walk away from the busy Bangla Rd. The location is great because you can be in the busy area quite quickly otherwise you can be far enough away to relax. Paradise Koh Yao is fabulous, it’s an hour boat ride away from Phuket main land and you can see much or as little as you wish. Dewa is fabulous as well, there’s a Village a 5 minute walk away from the hotel with lots of different food options.
To Phuket International Hospital (PIAC), I had the most amazing experience. The day of my surgery Doctor Boonchai explained everything to me and provided me with some suggestions as I wasn’t sure exactly what look would suit me. Doctor Boonchai was very informative and the staff at the clinic are very helpful, informative and organise everything perfectly. I flew in by myself as my travel partner wasn’t able to make it until the day I was released from the hospital, 2 days after my surgery. Doctor Boonchai and the staff organised to keep me in the post surgery room until I woke up so that they could sit with me and check up on me until I was awake rather than immediately sending me to my room post surgery. The next day Doctor Boonchai came to visit me and wanted me to stay an extra day in hospital as I was very worn out. The nurses are fabulous, they checked up on me every hour to make sure I was ok and to ask whether I needed anything, The food was amazing at the hospital. My post surgery consultations were organised and the driver came to pick me up at the exact time specified in my arrangements. The staff show such concern they almost didn’t let me stay at Paradise Koh Yao as they didn’t want me to be far away from the hospital in case anything went wrong (not that it did!!). When I needed more medication because I am a slow healer, I was prescribed more antibiotics without being charged extra. I slept throughout the whole day post surgery as I was very tired and was let out 2 days after surgery when my mother flew in and came to the hospital (post Doctor Boonchai seeing me to ok my release).
A big thank you to CosMediTour that had to put up with a number of changes I had to make to my travel dates and accommodation, and let me tell you my poor CosMediTour Consultant did get a few emails from me changing dates for accommodation! The day before I flew out my CosMediTour Consultant called me to wish me a safe trip and to make sure I had no other questions. Having a CosMediTour Client Manager in Phuket was also fabulous, if I had any questions there were answered!
Honestly I couldn’t fault any part of my experience. I enjoyed every part of it! Yes I did have pain, as if an elephant was sitting on my chest, when I was lying down but the pain medication relieved the majority of the pain. If I had the choice again, I would definitely pick Thailand over Australia to have the procedure.
Thanks for planning a wonderful cosmetic holiday CosMediTour.”
