Lesley’s Outstanding Mummy Makeover Results go VIRAL!

May 26, 2017 | News

Extreme weight loss left Lesley Molony with excessive sagging skin and deflated breasts. In an effort to feel comfortable and confident in her new body, she travelled to Thailand for a Mummy Makeover. Since showcasing her incredible weight loss and surgery transformation, her results have gone viral!

Two years ago, Lesley topped the scales at 140kgs. At this point, the mother-of-two realised she needed to do something about her weight. “Something just clicked and I decided I was ready,” the 35-year-old told news.com.au. “My kids were little, my son was running around all the time and I couldn’t keep up with him. I was taking high blood pressure medication as well, everything was taking a toll and I was like “OK, I’m doing this for the kids, I’m getting myself healthy.”

Lesley lost 64kg in 16 months and got down to 76kg. But while she was fitter, healthier and slimmer, she had handfuls of excess skin on her stomach and her breasts were deflated. “I knew it was going to happen. There was no way it wasn’t going to happen that I had excessive amounts of skin. I knew it wasn’t going to bounce back unfortunately,” she said.

Lesley appeared on Channel Nine’s Operation Thailand, which followed her skin removal surgery experience with popular plastic surgery tourism company CosMediTour Thailand. The high cost of plastic surgery in Australia and our long waiting lists in the public health system have created a booming medical tourism industry overseas. Procedures such as Tummy Tucks and Breast Lifts are becoming increasingly common.

Lesley says she is over the moon with her new body and is motivated to maintain her healthy lifestyle. “It’s amazing! Sometimes I still have to pinch myself and I catch glimpses of myself in the mirror and I can’t believe it’s me. It did take me a while to wrap my head around it. I would have had to wait four years for the surgery in the public system and by then, I think I would have put the weight back on.

I feel for people that don’t have the opportunity to go overseas like I did … the agony they must be in. If you’re not happy with your own body you should be able to do something about it,” she said.
