Preservation Rhinoplasty involves reducing the height of the nasal dorsum (the nose bridge), and removing any humps present, without altering the dorsal lines (the shape or spread of the nose). During the strategic technique, surgeons remove small portions of bone and cartilage from under the nasal bridge, rather than using the top-down approach of traditional Structural Rhinoplasty.
