What qualifications will my Thailand Plastic Surgeon have?

Will there be a language barrier?
No. Our Thai Plastic Surgeons are world-renowned and highly educated. They speak multiple languages and many of them, when not performing surgery, travel across the globe to present lectures about Plastic Surgery in English. Once you book your procedure with us, your personal Client Manager will be able to set your mind at ease about any possible language barriers—they know each of our Surgeons and can answer any questions you might have. Equally, CosMediTour clients enjoy the services of our in-destination client support team in Thailand. Friendly and knowledgeable, your Client Liaison is there to assist you on-the-ground, and even attends your consultation with you!
When will my consultation with my Surgeon be?
Your face-to-face consultation with your Plastic Surgeon will usually take place 1 to 3 days prior to your surgery. This is because you will not physically be in the country much before then. While in Australia, your Client Manager will act as the liaison between you and your Surgeon—if you have any questions for them before you travel, get in touch with your Client Manager so that your Surgeon can be informed and respond in a timely manner.
Can I have a consultation with the Surgeon before I complete my assessment?

Where will my recovery take place?
Your initial recovery will take place under the attentive care of our Thai hospital nursing staff. Once discharged, however, you will be transferred to your Thailand hotel, where you can recuperate in luxury. Can I see my Surgeon while I’m recovering?
Yes—upon discharge from hospital, your post-surgery consultation visit will be booked. This will take place before you depart Thailand so that your Surgeon can monitor your healing and remove any stitches if required.
When will I return home?
Before you depart Thailand, you will need to be declared ‘fit to fly’. Your Surgeon will make this assessment during your post-surgery consultation when they assess how your recovery is progressing.
